Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We only collect information we need to provide our services and respond to you. This includes:

• Contact details you provide: your name, email address, business name and the content of any message you send us.
• Snapshot responses: the answers and email you provide when you complete the BusinessOS Snapshot, so we can generate and save your result.
• People you invite: if you choose to share your Snapshot with someone, or to request their perspective on your business, you give us their email address (and, if you wish, their name and role) so we can send them a private invitation on your behalf.
• Engagement information: details you share with us during a Blueprint or ongoing engagement.
• Technical information: the standard information your browser sends when you visit the site, used to keep the site secure and working.

When you provide another person's email address to share a Snapshot or request their perspective, you confirm you may share their details with us for that purpose. We use those details only to send that invitation and to keep a record of it, not for marketing. The person you invited can ask us to remove their details at any time by emailing hello@beaspect.com.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the service you asked for, such as generating your Snapshot result or responding to an enquiry.
• To deliver a Blueprint or ongoing engagement you have purchased.
• To contact you about your result, enquiry or engagement.
• To operate, secure and improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.

3. Service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to help us operate. These include Supabase (database and file storage), Stripe (payment processing), our email delivery provider, HubSpot (our customer relationship management system), and, where you have accepted analytics or advertising cookies, Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement). They only access personal information as needed to perform their services for us and are required to protect it. Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.

4. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and then we delete it or de-identify it. How long that is depends on the type of information and why we hold it:

• Snapshot responses and results: kept so you can return to your result and so we can compare it over time if you take the Snapshot again.
• Blueprint inputs and documents: kept for the life of your engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards, so you can return to your plan and so we can support you.
• Invitation records and the contact details of people you invite: kept while the invitation is active and as a record that it was sent, then removed when no longer needed.
• Customer relationship records: kept while you are a customer or prospect, and for a reasonable period afterwards for legitimate business and record-keeping purposes.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and a person you invited can ask us to remove their details, by emailing hello@beaspect.com. We will do so unless we are required to keep it to meet a legal or record-keeping obligation.

6. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@beaspect.com. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us and we will work to resolve it.

7. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We always use the storage needed for the site to function and to remember basic preferences. Across the Aspect website (beaspect.com) and the Aspect application (app.beaspect.com) we use Google Analytics 4 to understand in aggregate how our sites are used — one Google Analytics property with cross-domain measurement, so a visit that moves from the website into the application is counted as one journey. In the application we also use Google Ads conversion measurement to measure our advertising. To measure ad conversions more accurately, we use Google’s Enhanced Conversions: when you make a purchase, your email address is converted into a one-way hashed code and sent to Google in that form only — never as a readable address for this purpose.

Analytics and advertising cookies, and Enhanced Conversions, load only if you accept them. Each site shows a banner with an equally clear accept and decline choice. Declining means no analytics or advertising cookies are written or read and no hashed email is sent, though Google may still receive anonymous, cookieless measurement signals. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer of either site. See our Cookie notice for the full detail.
